Authentication

This document describes the authentication features of the onTree Node application.

Registration​

The first time you access the onTree Node application, you will be prompted to create a new admin user. This is the only user account in the system.

To register, you will need to provide:

  • Username: A unique username for the admin account.
  • Password: A strong password for the admin account.
  • Confirm Password: Re-enter the password to confirm.

Once you have filled in the required information, click the "Register" button to create the admin account.

Logging In​

After you have registered, you will be redirected to the login page. To log in, you will need to provide the username and password you created during registration.

Logging Out​

To log out of the application, click on the user initial in the top right corner of the screen and select "Logout" from the dropdown menu.
